Wow, you all have made some fantastic observations. I am in COMPLETE agreement with your take on this REX.
While being upset about maybe not seeing Nightcrawler for a while, I fully expect to be VERY pleased and surprised when he inevitably returns.
BAMF!

Ive found everyones insight on this thread helpful.But.....HE BETTER COME BACK and Im not talking 10 years from now.Im fearing the worst but Ill try to remain hopeful. There seems to be a method to this madness so like everyone else Im thinking they took Kurt off of the team for the good of his character and soon he will make a kick-ass comeback.Atleast he better.DO YOU HEAR ME MARVEL???*sigh*
Hmmm,I seem to be going the same route as Nightcrawler.Perhaps I need a break as well?

I've been thinking about Kurt's behavior in unlimited, and I wonder if there's more than just grief involved. The falling asleep sitting at a table in the kitchen, the drooling, the sleep disturbances, the aggresiveness, the mussed-up appearance (although I have to admit, i thought he looked kinda cute despite the drool). He seems to be ill. Couple months back I was feeling headachy, irritable, had insomnia but often fell asleep in odd places, and my asthma intensified. I assumed there was just some allergen in the school that was messing me up. But when it became clear that my medications weren't helping I finally went to the doctor. It turned out I had an chest infection. After taking antibiotics, my mood and general feeling of well-being returned. I had no idea I was sick. I thought I felt tired and irritable due to stress and the stupid people I had to endure. I kinda wonder if this is what's happening to Kurt. Maybe that Legacy virus has lost its lethality, but it still makes a mutant sick, and Kurt's got it. He thinks he feels lousy solely because he lost a good friend. Any thoughts on this? Or do I just have an overactive imagination??
Nah, Marvel's not that creative.
It might explain the delusions of being a priest though.
